The French Institute in Norway organized on June 21st the official ceremony for the FINA prize 2023.
The FINA program was launched in 2020 by five French Institutes in the Nordic region with the aim to promote scientific cooperation between France and the following countries Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Denmark.
Five Laureates, one from each country, were selected for the quality and importance of their research project on the theme of the circular economy. The prize consists of a scientific mobility in autumn 2023 in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, a region of France which is booming for the circular economy!
The Laureate from Norway, Olga Odrzygóźdź from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) presented her research project about sustainable agriculture: “Application of waste rocks and mine tailings for soil restoration and improvement of fertility”.
The conference was followed by a question-and-answer session and a French buffet.
