The 2023 edition of baroque music festival Barokkfest will take place from January 31st to February 5th in Trondheim (Frimurerlogen).
The opera Les Indes Galantes by French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau, considered to be one of his masterpieces, will be performed on February 4th at 7:30 PM with Nordic Baroque Orchestra (Ungdommens Barokkorkester) and four key figures from the new generation of French baroque opera artists:
- conductor Stéphanie Degand,
- baritone Thomas Dolié,
- soprano Chloé Jacob,
- tenor Mathias Vidal.
